The successful candidate will be:
*an exceptional classroom practitioner with a passion for developing
children's reading 1:1, working on short term interventions using the Every Child a Reader initiative, designed for children in year 1
*a fully trained Reading Recovery teacher, to work 0.6 (5 mornings and one afternoon) who has got a proven record of delivering Reading Recovery successfully for at least one year
*an excellent Reading Recovery teacher who shows strong understanding of the skills needed to successfully teach the ECaR intervention
*a teacher with high expectations and a strong understanding of assessment and raising achievement
*a dynamic, creative, positive team member
